WOCF 2025

Chers Amis olympiques,
Only a few weeks left before the whole family of Olympic collectors from all over the world reunites in Prague, 100 years to the day after the historic Congress of the International Olympic Committee, in this same wonderful city.
The entire Olympsport team, with the support of AICO, has worked to make the XXVIII WOCF Prague 2025 a unique moment of exchanges, meetings and sharing.
The opportunity for all of us to re-discover the cultural charms of the Czech capital as well.
I invite participants, visitors and exhibitors to take part in the cultural and festive program of the WOCF Prague 2025, in particular the Gala dinner on Saturday 31 May 2025 where we will find in a historical setting combining music and gastronomy… with a few surprises.
We will celebrate the 28th edition of our international event for fans and enthusiasts of Olympism.

Philately

Hand Commemorative Postmarks

Both postmarks will be used on May 30, 2025, by Czech Post Prague 8 at a temporary counter set up in the Olympik Hotel complex.

Postcard

Czech Post will issue 2,300 pieces of a postal postcard on May 7th, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the VIII Olympic Congress, which took place in Prague from May 29th to June 4th, 1925.
The letter “E” value stamp corresponds to the postage price for shipments to European countries.

Printer’s Sheets

Printer’s Sheet: 28th WORLD OLYMPIC COLLECTORS FAIR featuring a Diskobolos stamp and the logos of the fair in a bilingual overprint.

Printer’s Sheet: 100th Anniversary of the VIII Olympic Congress in Prague 1925 featuring a Diskobolos stamp and a series of overprinted postage stamps issued in 1925, along with a hand-held commemorative postmark on the imprint areas.

Pins

The organizers of WOCF Prague 2025 have introduced a set of 3 pins prepared for the event. The pin manufacturer is HONAV from the USA, an IOC-authorized company.
The PARTICIPANT pin will be given to every participant who has purchased a table (table holder) – 1 pin per table. The ORGANIZER pin will be worn exclusively by the WOCF 2025 organizers. The logo pin will be available for purchase at the OLYMPSPORT stand during the Fair.
