The opening of the 28th World Olympic Collectors’ Fair in Prague 2025 is just a few days away, a mere handful of hours.
On Friday, May 30th, we will welcome around 95 exhibitors from 18 countries across the globe, united by a great passion – collecting various Olympic artifacts.
We wish you all many wonderful days in the city of a hundred spires, many beautiful discoveries, wonderful exchanges, and also great events to experience together.
This is the last newsletter before our Fair. We look forward to meeting you over the weekend of May 30th – June 1st, 2025!

The Czech Olympic Academy and the Czech Pierre de Coubertin Committee cordially invite you to a historical seminar 100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE OLYMPIC CONGRESS IN PRAGUE, which will take place on May 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM in the historical building of the National Museum.

What can you look forward to?
The day before the official opening of the Fair, the organizers have prepared a cultural event for you on Thursday evening, May 29, 2025. The bus departs from the Olympik Hotel at 5:00 PM.
This cultural event consists of two parts:
- Visit to the Tyrš House

From the Tyrš House, transfer by bus to the pier on the Vltava River - Cruise on the Vltava River
Join us for this unforgettable cruise on the Vltava River!
We cordially invite you to a relaxing and memorable two-hour (20-22) cruise on a historical boat along the Vltava River.
Enjoy the picturesque views of illuminated Prague from a unique perspective, while savoring a rich buffet and refreshing drinks. It’s a wonderful opportunity to unwind before the busy Fair days and to meet fellow participants in an informal setting.

If you visit the 28th World Olympic Collectors’ Fair at the Olympik Hotel complex, you can take away the autograph of the author of the postal postcard and the commemorative postmark, Mr. Kamil Knotek, who will be happy to sign these artifacts for you on Friday, May 30th from 2:00 p.m.

That’s not all. The following day, Saturday, May 31st, there will be an autograph session with Czech Olympians starting at 10:00 AM. David Svoboda, Olympic gold medalist in modern pentathlon at the 2012 London Olympics, and Pavel Benc, a member of the bronze medal-winning 4 x 10 km relay team in cross-country skiing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, at the 1992 and 1994 Winter Olympics in Albertville and Lillehammer, he was the flag bearer for the Czech team at the opening ceremony, he is currently the chairman of the Czech Olympians Club have confirmed their participation
At the time of the newsletter’s closing, negotiations are underway regarding the possible participation of other Olympians.
NOTICE !
Those interested who will not be attending the fair will have the opportunity to purchase the remaining fair philatelic materials, pins and picture postcards after the fair concludes.
